POLARIS REVEALS PLAN FOR ALL-NEW FULL-SIZE ELECTRIC RANGER
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (March 1, 2021) – Polaris Inc. (NYSE: PII) today unveiled plans to debut an all-new 2022 electric RANGER utility side-by-side in late December 2021, advancing the Company’s strategic rEV’d up electrification strategy.
- All new full-size RANGER will be the first electric vehicle released in collaboration with ZERO Motorcycles, driving leadership in off-road vehicle electrification and progressing Polaris’ rEV’d up strategy announced in September 2020.
- The new off-road vehicle will launch internationally in December 2021 with first deliveries expected in Q1 2022.
This full-size RANGER is the first electric vehicle Polaris has developed through its technical partnership with Zero Motorcycles®, a renowned leader in electric power and battery technology. The two companies announced a technical partnership in September 2020 to develop Polaris Electric vehicles together and the program remains on target to launch the first new model in early 2022.

As part of the Polaris rEV’d up strategy, the all-new full-size electric RANGER spearheads the company’s long-term plan to accelerate its leadership in powersports electrification. Design and development efforts for the all-new electric RANGER are underway in Wyoming, Minnesota with manufacturing to take place at Polaris’ facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
